My guess on price is somewhere between $500 and $1000, but regardless I think we should consider the value of Steam sales vs. PS Store or Xbox. You simply don't get sales like Steam's on other platforms. Your savings on the actual games will add up.

Some have labeled this as a mid-tier PC which seems out of touch to me. Most PC gamers are not running cutting edge GPUs or even 4+ core CPUs. This is a perfectly capable PC with the benefit of having a living room form factor.
