So in another glamorous role I got to play fish filleter Pearl in Ladies Day. An emotional part and a Tony Christie soundtrack. (I'm never going to get Amarillo out of my head 🙂)

We had a nuthatch do the same thing once in a hotel just off the M6. (Photo RSPB). I think they think their reflection is another bird on their patch.

A couple of weeks ago we were lucky enough to be in Kenya. Your photo reminded me of this wildebeest nursing. It's a privilege isn't it to be there and tolerated.

The cygnets have hatched (at last). 6 of them who will stand a good chance with such attentive parents. Sadly, it was Armageddon with the 14 ducklings.
