Hurricane Melissa tore through Jamaica as a Category 5 storm, leaving behind heartbreaking destruction. The Jamaica Red Cross prepositioned relief supplies before the storm, and teams are now supporting shelters and operating ambulances to respond to health emergencies.

A beach day turned into a rescue mission for this father and son.

Brandon and his dad, Brandon Kerrington Williams, saw a man struggling in the ocean. They pulled him to safety and stayed by his side until help arrived. Their story shows that being prepared and compassionate can help save lives. ❤️
