A few beligerants accomplish nothing. You need MANY beligerants to change something. The way you get MANY beligerants is through empowering and organizing your base. The democratic party is radically behind on trying to fight fascism, but i see promise in what people are doing NOW.

By moving to bsky (or anywhere else really), you're shedding the fat and dragging ONLY your bread and butter along with you. Its a smaller crowd, yes, but its the same engaged crowd, pluss a little more because noe you have a fresh community to outreach to.

I think most people see the big number and dont realize that in the social media game, you arent expected to be reaching all 100% of your audience. Half of them are bots, and half of what is left are abandoned accounts. The little bit that remains is your bread and butter.
