Having complete creative control is exciting, until you think about what that means. Client requests are meant to help give you some signposts on the road to creating (without being over the top), but with you at the helm, it's up to your style to create something new that hits the mark . (3/4)

Sled Island Fest works with Canadian visual artists every year to design screen-printed posters highlighting select artists performing during that year's festival. In 2019, I made a poster for Screaming Females, given full rein to design anything I wanted.

Brennan Fitzgerald is bringing a new way to create wall art in NS, with Think Vertical Wall Printing! This unique process uses computer graphics, images and illustrations, and prints directly on interior wall surfaces at whatever scale you need.

This is a topic very near and dear to my heart, as I've spent the last 6 years doing community murals with over 200 participants, and the last 10 years facilitating placemaking events & projects. Check out the link and ask if you have any questions!

The week will be full of foundational lessons in how to prep, plan, and propose your own murals while we look at examples from around the world and in our local community. Throughout the week, you’ll be applying the paint & your skills as you work on collaborative murals with your classmates!
