Serious question: Why do we force ourselves to be lively in January?
It's cold, dark, and wet. At least in the Northern Hemisphere. Most of the plants are in hibernation, having shed their leaves and such....

Tried cross stitch on and off for years because I was trying to work up to the “advanced” free hand.
But following a pattern didn’t challenge me (except the counting).
So glad I aimed higher and dove into free hand embroidery.
Continuing Kandinsky theme here and made book marks.
