I feel like no reviews because those one stars bring down the quality of the book and the ratings. It just like a school test u could have got an A but that one grade of 54 messed it up.

So I only published on kdp for Amazon, but I also started a patreon. I don't understand alot of it but I haven't had to really dive into either.

I just can't find the right words. I don't need words that you can find in a SAT book. But also I don't want too much of a common word.

The feeling is mutual. How can I have such a great scene in my head, but when I paper a fourth grader, it has a better sentence? lol.

Always. Everytime I write, because when I do look it over. I see everything wrong about it...but I also see the story in full view and why I need to fix it.

The read out loud factor is so important. Because when I read to my self things seem correct. But I'm also hearing my own voice, and because I wrote it of course I think it's right. Even with a computer voice you can still hear the mistakes because it's not your voice.

So I like a combo of both. 5 to 8 pages for a chapter depending the font is fine for me. Longer is for fight scenes. Cliff hanger scenes, and you don't get back to that cliff hanger until 4 chapters later. Things like that.

That's amazing. I love that you have such a relationship with this person. I have been self published for the last 10 years. However, I have not gotten to the point of those relationships yet.

When all else fails go back to the basics.

Be good to yourself while doing it. I know trying to write in adult fiction that is also a genre of fantasy has been kicking me. I'm usually a YA writer. 😀 friendly reminder to not just be kind to yourself while you write.

I always wanted to write under a different name because I want people to love the book. I don't care if they love me. That's not what I'm doing this for
