Writing documentation is legitimately one of the most tedious parts of being a plugin creator. Currently writing docs and sales pages for our multisite add-on. Since it's a Saturday night, there's wine, chocolate, and a funny #WordPress plugin assisting with ambiance.

We did it! @chrishinds.bsky.social and I finished our first 5k. I almost managed to jog the whole time with only a couple of 30 second walking breaks. Finished in the middle of the pack for women my age at 34:51. They gave out participation medals which I gladly accepted. 🏃‍♀️🏅

Last week's livestream was the perfect example of why icon-only buttons suck. For 5 minutes, I struggled to figure out how to copy/paste styles in the #WordPress block editor. The button is an icon that I didn't think to click until an audience member pointed it out. #UI #a11y

Tell me your opinion on option groups. A WCAG techniques doc shows how to use them, suggesting they're ok. But, the browser and OS color mode control the color of the option group labels, and in Chrome on a Mac, they fail contrast. Passes in Firefox. Would you use these? #a11y #accessibility
