Tonight I was fortunate to see the opening night of #300paintings by Sam Kissajukian. This show felt deeply personal to this mentally ill former theatre kid who works for an art museum. Highly recommend, even if you aren't in that exact niche. Definitely stay for the exhibit gallery afterwards!

Many things are awful on the macro and the micro levels right now, but please consider that this perfect orange cat adores you just as you are, so keep fighting.

"I'll totally have the energy to cook dinner tonight after marching in a protest today," and other lies my overly optimistic disabled ass tells myself.

Worth it. Boston turned out for Labor Day, and it did my heart good to be a part of it.

Starting my Labor Day with a parade/protest!

Today I can't, but I'm sticking around in the hopes that tomorrow I can, and for these two perfect cat shaped floofs who rely on me.

Mental health care is health care, and invisible disabilities are real.

Don't fuck with a person with the patience and fortitude to stab something several tens of thousands of times just to show her love.

(Started working on a gift for a partner.)

Some days I'm extra grateful for these doofs and the ability to work from home when I need to.

That American heritage is aspirational more than factual, but it's a good aspiration.

If you're in Boston anytime before it closes, highly recommend ART's Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York). Superbly acted and designed!

Just getting over being quite sick from flu-like illness. Cats and flowers have been my sanity for the last span of days.

Art in Bloom at the MFA, Boston this weekend. The highlight of the show for me this year is this one. The books in color at the bottom are all banned books.

Spring is springing and the weather is glorious in Boston today!

Forever GMs back on their bullshirt! Today, inspired by #encounterparty, we're having a dinner party puzzle while negotiating politics.

The crowd of us who had just left the Lantern Ceremony and poured out into the streets cheered loudly as the images were projected onto Old North.
