9:45 PM and storms are now mainly in Nw Iowa. Power lines were reported down in Rock Valley. Isolated tornadoes are possible with this line, but the biggest threat is straight-line winds over 60mph.

Storm system developing over SE South Dakota as of 9:15 PM on 7/28.
Wind gusts have ranged from 60-87mph with 1-3” limbs broken and shingles blown off a house.
Looking at the colors, the pink and beige/yellow spots are where the radar is sampling 60mph+ winds.

If everyone lived like we do in Canada or the U.S., we’d need 5 planets to support us all. Australians & Koreans would each require more than 4 Earths. We are depleting nature’s ability to support life about 70% faster than it is able to regenerate. That's why I think every day should be Earth Day!

I am genuinely wondering what other sustainable Americans do for toilet paper. For years I’ve purchased bamboo tp because of how much more sustainable it is than trees. Because bamboo only grows in certain parts of the world, the company I buy from sources it from china. It got me thinking-
