Last time I ate out was pre-Covid (I’m vulnerable and in iso-l now). It was horrible as they just rushed you to order, eat, pay, and leave quickly so they could get a new group of people in. It felt so cold and hostile that we didn’t even speak to each other while waiting for the food.

I was diagnosed as a kid, but wasn’t told. I had an incredibly abusive family who instead claimed the professional said I was everything wrong in the family. Not having a name for it didn’t change how badly it affected me, but finding out changed how I viewed myself and manage my life.
