Unrelated: something weird seems to happen when you hand load multiple stacks into an elevator. I’ve had items seemingly go missing (ie the elevator shows I put in two full stacks but more than two stacks are missing from my inventory. I put in 40 out of my 60 but now I only have 13 leftover…)

Also related: when the game starts running bad like this, the map also freaks out. Opening it is fine, but if I try to zoom in or out, the game starts clicking and the whole screen starts rapidly zooming in and out in a glitchy way.

Related: what things can interact with you before they’ve loaded in is really annoying. You can’t get thrown by fluted vents you can’t see, but an invisible squilican or rock teron sure can merc your ass…

And like I said, it only became a problem in the late game and it used to take a while during a play session before it became a problem but now, practically as soon as I open it and start moving around, things quit loading properly. It’s pretty much unplayable…

I checked it against the listed system requirements and it meets or exceeds recommended. Windows 10, Intel i7, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 graphics, DirectX v12, plenty of storage.

Unrelated: did you know that having a map marker set on an Aetheric Fissure prevents you from placing an Arboretum on it? That’s a weird thing… took me ages to work out what was blocking me.

THE RAMS! How are you supposed to stop the rams?! They run through anything, kill whole stacks before you can think.

Once I got the hot and cold sparks, I killed a megalith crangolin with no losses. I’d already killed a whalerin without losing a stack.

But I can’t kill a ram to save my damn life…

I tried using the megaliths but I couldn’t get my guys to stop walking straight through the lava.

And since when are Arty sparks useful?! I was fully under the impression they were just for painting buildings and such. How do they get paint for battles? Do I have to build them a paint bucket?
