it isn't exactly related to art sites as much, but have you poked around the indie web at all? i do feel like those spaces, from what i can tell, are attempting to foster some of what you're yearning for from the past (community building), while having also learned from it

so i'd like to revisit the project again in the future in a different way--maybe chop up the boards i have into panels for a webcomic instead of trying to tightly clean/rough animate stuff, etc

that's the plan i mean! i already had 25 mins of boards done for my pilot that i wouldn't be able to animate or even clean up on my own within a reasonable amt of time SDFLKHSDFHLK

real tbh -- this is the main reason i stopped working on my animated pilot for a bit, i realized i was not able to execute it at the skill level it required by myself. in the future i'll either revisit it with a team or change the execution to be smth i CAN do

People definitely underestimate the depths of the propaganda. Like it's not just the news and stuff but also entertainment, advertising, everything. We live in the real "does the fish know it's wet" shit here.
