Thank you, Tim! I’m seeing so little commentary about the recission package today and it is so consequential in terms of the actual billions in it but more so about unchecked executive control. Congress has a chance to put themselves back in the game but they are apparently happy on the bench.

Feel certain this is why they are being attacked first…I think they are destroying it as a test case (and because they are cruel, short-sighted assholes). If they get away with decimating an independent, statutory agency with zero pushback then every other independent statutory agency goes down
