This is environmental communication skills are incredibly important; it could save lives.

As scientists and bystanders, we have to take the leap to educate ourselves with the purpose of communicating and teaching. If the conversation is never started, how will a solution be found?

In high school, I worked with a biopolymer research center to create a biodegradable alternative to plastic, and after that, I was hooked. That project sparked my love for sustainability and inspired me to pursue environmental science with excitement and purpose here at Emory.
