Honestly, a very apt metaphor. Except I personally feel it is much less picturesque and more gruesome, on like a soul level 😭😂

You know, I've never thought to try eating the flowers. Usually I leave them for the bees! But the leaves of the plant definitely smell and taste minty!

Yes! We have a species of mint here that grows in watery verges. So my local wetland (bog) has mint plants and flowers everywhere 🥰
