I like the smaller, spaced-out buttons and orange gradients of B.
Not just because orange is my favorite color, but because it calls back to the original Angry Birds menu buttons, the same era that DORFic and Frutiger Aero were most prevalent, styles that those buttons use.

A. could allow for a neat effect where, after pressing play, the tree texture size increases to give the illusion you're passing through them. That, and with the sky view it offers, you could add characters flying by in the background when you’re idle, and I think that's neat.
