Used books store run. Lots of Stephen King selections. Last time I went they had @cgolden.bsky.social's "All Hallows" and like an idiot I didn't grab it. It was gone today. Just my luck!

Target had a sale on some books, including a number of volumes by @stephenking.bsky.social. So, I picked up three I didn't own and one of them ended up being free!

A page from a 3rd grade textbook to be used in public schools in Texas entitled 'Stories of Ancient Rome.' I loathe the couching of this as "the Christian Bible explains" rather than "the Christian Bible claims." It almost takes for granted the truth of "the Bible."

This year I'm (attempting) to read through my Greek NT (a reader's edition) and also read through all the volumes in the Paideia series. I'm starting with GJohn and Jo-Ann Brant's commentary has so far been insightful. Looking forward to reading the rest of it!

Happy New Year, y'all!
