Like, being trans has brought me my community, my gf, a deeper understanding of myself, and a connection with other trans folks I would never have otherwise had. Sucks to hear being transgender described as having dysphoria as if that’s all it means. 😔

It makes me sad that some trans folks feel being trans = dysphoria, when the reason I’m proud to be trans has nothing to do with dysphoria (and I certainly would never choose to be cis). Everyone’s transgender journey is different and valid, but it is sad to see others feel this way.
