This Bylaw Amendment is proposed by DNC Member / Dems-for-Israel leader Andrew Lachman and will be discussed at the E-Board Meeting on 8/22.
There has been no opposition from party leaders but a lot of pressure from rank and file members. We must make our voices heard! ✊🏾✊🏽✊🏿

It's been two days since a bigoted Republican member of Congress published a hate-filled post against Sikhs and Muslims. Since then, Republican leadership has been silent while Democratic leadership has clearly stood with our communities against bigotry.

Appreciate that there are some really good statements from officials re standing with immigrants against ICE/Trump/MAGA in our communities...BUT shouldn't there be some pretty significant criticism re LAPD enabling those ICE raids? @aclucalaction.bsky.social @aclu.org

I must admit that it was not until today that I fully appreciated the immense courage of the reporters that put themselves in harm's way to bring us the stories of Sikh human rights advocates at risk due to the assassinations and plots by the government of India.

Thankful for the ceasefire between Pakistan & India; may it prevail despite the violence since the announcement. Conflict between them always brings tragedy to Punjab, my ancestral home. Prayers that deeply flawed leadership on both sides have the wisdom and courage to act on behalf of the people.🙏🏽

Folks that want to keep caste discrimination alive have a legal problem that the Appeals Court nailed: If you and your religion claim not to discriminate, then this policy does not affect you, so why are you wasting the Court's time?
