Wish I could give you some! My dad loves them too, and I was happy to drive across california to fulfill that desire. I can’t grow french prunes (my favorite) here … but I bet you could.

I had to work hard for the figs (an invasive hedge was, well, invading) and used stainless steel mesh bags to save the pomegranates from my family of stone fruit devouring squirrels.

Also, did you know American Canyon was incorporated/started by the local nursery in the 50’s/60’s? Some of the best fallen fruit in that suburbia…

I’m in 10a/b in El Sereno (a neighborhood in LA). I have two kinds of plums, a pluot, a peach (my profile pic!) kiwis, an apricot, an almond, and a mulberry. All of those are on a greywater system in terraces in the backyard. Napa is nice- my dad is in American Canyon.

Thank you- this is the second year for some of the trees (fig and guava). The guava is on greywater (posts about that adventure in the future). Nice to meet you and your lovely tomatoes!
