I have finished Metroid Prime 4 and I have mixed feelings about the last third of the game. It felt like it was 60% traditional Metroid and 40% action game. I never thought I would spend what seemed like 60 minutes collecting crystals to finish the game. @tolkoto.com @grubb.wtf

I want to congratulate @giantbomb.bsky.social for putting on an amazing show. As a fan since 2008, everybody contributing to this website was always the best part. I hope this continues for a very long time and everyone reaps the rewards for all their hard work.

I completed #outerworlds2 and i though it was ok. Did not completely blow my mind like the first game did. The game did crash 6 times and one of the big factions quests did bug out for me.

@tolkoto.com Im taking a break playing new games and started Phantasy Star IV over the weekend. I do enjoy a game where i can just grind for hours, knowing the final boss in these games will punish you in seconds if your under level.

#Gamescom opening night live was a poor show. By the end it was all a blur and trying to remember what happened during it is difficult. Having two shows between June and August is stretching any possible new announcements. I believe the pre show was more exciting and the Air Riders direct as well.

If you have never seen Dr Strangelove (1964) and Network (1976), make some time and watch these movies. Both are amazing and do not get talked about these days. #movies

@tolkoto.com, @danryckert.com, @grubb.wtf I finished #DeathStranding2 and I love this game. A complete 180 degree turn from the first game. My thoughts are this is a love letter to metal gear and a proper goodbye. This would be number 1 if Clair Obscur never came out.

I am playing #DeathStranding 2 and it reminds me of MGS V. From the characters, the design choices and Kojima weirdness. This is a much better game than the first. The story is more understandable and does not waste your time with complete bullshit.

I have watched 7 wrestling shows, 3 #NJPW and 4 #Stardom over 3 days. They both now have a 1 or 2 day break., before they go crazy again for the weekend. I can now catch up on #Marigolds dream star GP shows.

As a palate cleanser after finished DK Bananza, i replayed #Metroid Zero and Fusion. Both games are still fun to play and hold up well. I never finished Dread, i made it towards the end just didn't bother completing it. I should go back and just do it.

Tomorrow i will be packing up my #XboxSeriesX. I thought about and realised, i only ever used it to play Fortnite with my nephew in the last year. I can literally play the game anywhere. All the Xbox games can now be bought on PC and some on PlayStation. I am officially done with Xbox.

I think Gabe Kidd's G1 is already over. Even if he does not have ligament damage, it will still take a few weeks to recover. Why risk it for a few matches towards the end. #njpw

I finished #DKBonanza and it was just delightful game. I would say I had done 60% of collecting without trying too hard. You should avoid all spoilers for the end stages. It's rare for a game to make me play 10 hours a day but I couldn't stop. @tolkoto.com, @grubb.wtf

Having a grand time with #donkeykongbonanza. The boss fights are non events, each one i have faced has lasted 10 seconds each. The frame rate talk was overblown, as it holds up real well. @tolkoto.com, @grubb.wtf

My thoughts on the #allintexas. Very good event, it was long but that's expected. The fork spot was a good visual. The two casino gauntlets were fun. The Okada vs Omega match was the weakest of their fued. It could never hit those highs due to the conditions of each wrestlers. #aew

I have watched Adam Cole in ROH, NJPW and recently #AEW. I have always enjoyed his work and hope he recovers from whatever his health issues are.

The #heatwave is one thing to deal with but no air conditioning (from the UK) is also another issue. How about not being able to open the office window (working from home), as there is a wasp nests above. The next few days are going to suck.

I finished #DavetheDiver and it was a delightful game. The debate over if the game was indie or not was silly. If you at the credits and the number people involved and their backers. I would never class them as indie. Games are just games regardless on how they are made.
