Sad end to a great weekend. After an 1100+ km round-trip and a day spent at an ADAC training course with other RT riders, a car made a sudden u-turn in front of me, less than 10 minutes from home.
5 days in the ICU with broken ribs and a punctured lung.
Damage to RT: 17k Euros, insurance write-off.
