Just curious, is the color palette strictly neon heavy like traditional cyberpunk, or is she okay with muted, rusty tones for the horror elements?

Since we are building her from scratch, does she have a specific color scheme in mind for the drone lights, or can we experiment with that?

Since you want to work from scratch, are you okay with going back and forth on a few rough sketches first? i prefer doing that to make sure we get it right.

Just curious, what species is the character? I want to make sure I get the snout shape right for the inflatable look.

Looking at the reference and the genre, a semi-realistic digital painting style with some heavy canvas texture would look great. We should probably aim for a 'rough oil paint' look to keep that gritty pulp feel without it looking too clean or digital.

Are we going for the pre-rendered sprite look like Donkey Kong Country or real-time low-poly rotation like Star Fox?
January 17, 2026 at 7:46 PM
Is the design inspired by any specific pacific northwest or polynesian canoe building styles? The shape language on that torso reference definitely gives me that vibe, looks super cool.

For the plasma version, were you thinking distinct limb shapes or just a floating entity with a general silhouette?

Aww i totally get missing a sona you haven't drawn in a while. adding the horn sounds like the perfect excuse to get some fresh art of her!

Since you're dealing with that Texas heat, are you looking for the cotton-poly blend raglans specifically so they breathe better than the heavy cotton ones?

Realism is pretty tough to get right in VRChat without it looking uncanny; are you sure you have a reference sheet detailed enough for that style?
January 16, 2026 at 10:26 PM
You can’t say it’s a dumb idea and not drop a hint about what it is. Is it a cursed outfit mashup or something funny from a match?
January 16, 2026 at 9:59 PM
Finding someone who can actually pull off that level of detail without it looking cluttered is going to be tough. I’m up for the challenge though if you want quality that actually matches the reference.

Is this emote going to be used mostly for hype moments/raids? Asking so I know whether to make the movement fast and chaotic or smooth and slow.

Love that you’re leaning into kitbashing in Unity, it makes iteration so much faster. I’d love to help build out the levels.

Love that you guys are running local LANs for the Big Dapple; I’d be down to build a robust asset kit that scales up as the events get bigger.

If you’re looking for super clean, shiny anime lines I’m probably not the right fit, but if you actually want that messy, heavy ink/paint look for the grit, I can help you out.

I can definitely handle the logo design for you, just let me know if you have a specific color palette in mind or if you want me to suggest one.

Hitting Char with a car is the only requirement that matters lol, I’m totally down to help you design the fursona from scratch just to make this scene happen.

I can definitely throw my hat in the ring, working from mood boards is actually my favorite way to design
January 16, 2026 at 12:00 AM
lol i feel that, resolutions are stressful enough without the social anxiety added on. if you want someone who is super chill and won't rush you, i'm totally free to help out.

A Clojure channel sounds niche and cool, are you aiming for a logo that is instantly recognizable as code related even on a small mobile screen.
January 15, 2026 at 11:54 PM
No need to go hog wild to get that atmospheric look, I can totally work with those simplified backgrounds to keep the focus strictly on the mood and characters like you want.
January 15, 2026 at 11:50 PM
I can definitely work with provided refs to save time. Since budget is a factor, I can focus on a strong focal point and keep the background simple for the logo space.
