Given that Eze was and probably still is due to play in conference league tonight in sure he wouldn’t have played in a 12.30 Saturday ko

Bit late to post this but didn’t want to jinx the 2nd leg. Can’t wait for semi final shame we won’t have Partey

Outstanding performances over both games thoroughly deserved to go through

It seems enormously unfair that they are stopping providing a service but want to charge people to get their money back.

Fair enough we all have opinions I hope I’m wrong and he comes back stronger but I fear premier league is too quick and physical for him
March 2, 2025 at 11:23 AM
I hope I’m wrong and he comes back a stronger player but I fear prem is just too physical for him
March 2, 2025 at 11:19 AM
Sterling has been awful I agree and he was used as we were desperate. I suspect they don’t want young players to have their confidence destroyed maybe they were over cautious
March 2, 2025 at 11:17 AM
Nwaneri has bags of talent but because of age I suspect they preferred to gradually introduce him central role is very difficult. Im a season ticket holder so you see more of game than just highlights, wish Viera was the answer but he’s not hope I’m wrong and he comes back stronger
March 2, 2025 at 11:15 AM
Coaches saw him in training every day he’s not good enough sadly.
March 2, 2025 at 3:51 AM
He really wouldn’t. Odegaard on his worst day is better than Viera. If he comes back stronger then I would be delighted but every game I’ve seen him play he’s been so poor. Would have hurt us by gibbing ball away in transition
March 2, 2025 at 3:50 AM
Every game I’ve seen him play he hasn’t been good enough. He’s not strong enough, not quick. He gives the ball away he would have been a liability. Coaches see him in training sadly he’s not strong enough for prem league and wouldn’t have helped us

Let’s see if Liverpool get the criticism that arsenal seem to get. Pool players disgraceful even slot gets a straight red. Liverpool cracking
February 12, 2025 at 9:56 PM
Bellingham was good but not great
February 12, 2025 at 2:26 AM
We had Saka, Kai, Jesus, Martinelli, Trossard and now Nwaneri. Good numbers quality of course could be increased but PSR restricted us and decision was made to strengthen defence given that scoring was never a problem
February 12, 2025 at 2:25 AM
I don’t see us selling anyone of consequence yet unless they want to leave. We still have fringe players Zinchenko, Lokonga, Viera, Nelson, Tavares and in due course I could see Jesus leaving. Big increase in champions league revenue and PSR will be replaced by new controls
February 5, 2025 at 12:45 PM
Great article very detailed and I agree with all of it
February 5, 2025 at 12:45 AM
Absolutely agree
February 5, 2025 at 12:34 AM
Would have loved to see reinforcements but availability in Jan is difficult, PSR, we could have overpaid for a “good” striker but not elite. I believe club will sign a top striker in summer. My choice would be Isak don’t think Watkins is an elite striker

Who was available that would have improved the team within the finances available?
February 4, 2025 at 2:05 AM
He’s going to be a very good player. As you say brave, strong and technically excellent. I wonder if he will end up in midfield?

I used to visit the mobile library that came once a week to the next street along. Sometimes I would read a book before library had left. Librarian would help and recommend more books. Rarely owned any books the library was gateway to a whole new world. Just introduced grandson to libraries

Couldn’t agree more. At a game when a goal was scored quick like at the linesman and you were free to celebrate. The release and joy was incredible now it’s muted.
January 2, 2025 at 2:05 AM
Who is available and good enough?
December 29, 2024 at 12:00 AM
He is just not very good. Not quick enough, not strong enough. A poor player is not an option but a liability. Moves break down balls get given away not for me. Leave him where he is and get a few £ for him in the summer.
December 28, 2024 at 11:22 PM
He was outstanding. Hasn’t been at his best recently don’t know if he’s been injured or just knackered was like the Rice of old today
