The first year women's ice hockey was a sport in the #WinterOlympics was 1998.

#OTD in 1998 in Nagano, Japan, the United States beat Canada 3-1 to become the first country to win gold in women's ice hockey at the Winter Olympics.

36 sleeps until opening day. Milwaukee icon Robin Yount throws to first. The last player to hit a home run at the age of 18. Winner of 2 AL MVP’s Yount had 3142 hits during his 20 MLB seasons, all with the Brewers. One of the best players I ever saw. Hall of Fame 1999.
