I've heard nothing but good things about Hall effect joysticks. I haven't tried them personally, but they should (theoretically) last for years longer than other joysticks. I've heard the GameSir G7 SE is a good controller if you are looking for Hall sticks. It is wired if that ain't your jam, tho.
