The second half of the year was awesome in terms of shows. I waited for episodes like I used to in cable TV days.

- Alien Earth
- The Last of Us S2
- IT: Welcome to Derry
- Stranger things
- Peacemaker S2
- Pluribus

Some are still ongoing :)

Did I miss anything 🤔

Rewrote my site from Next.js to @svelte.dev, really enjoying it so far.

Small confusion though: just destructuring values from $props (no mutation!) triggers dev warnings. Wrapping them in $derived() makes it go away.

Feels like I’m missing something 😅

Svelte folks, HELP!

I updated my personal site and wrote a new blog.
Current tech stack of site is Next.js 15 app router. I'm using RSCs and turbopack.

The development speed in using Next is so fast, but when a unknown error appears than debugging it is also hell.

New blog on my revamped site.

If you're a uv user and wanted to know how to deploy a Django app to fly without messing around with requirements.txt file then this may help you.

I've also shown how you can deploy it with sqlite as db.

Deploying Django + uv + sqlite to Fly.io
Deploying a Django app to fly.io is fairly easy but comes with some production configurations to consider, this guide will cover the steps to deploy a Django app managed with uv to fly.io

almost wasted an hour figuring out why my bash script isn't working in fly[.]io machine and the issue was that #!/bin/bash line was on the second line of the sh file, first line being empty 🤦🏻‍♂️

Oh & btw I'm writing a blog on how I deployed a Django and sqlite app to fly.

Building a project with django + htmx + alpine.js right now.

Feels like setting up a custom SPA implementation.

I'm enjoying though.

Whenever I go to someone's bsky profile i try to click the handle as if it'll open their website. 😅

Maybe if someone used their domain as bsky handle, then it should be present at link somewhere below in bio?

So this is what "Attention to details" means written in job description everywhere.

I'm a student of Josh's react course, so I'm not surprised he'll do stuff like this.

Cool stuff.
So I'm working on a landing page for a thing I’m doing for Black Friday. I had a squiggly divider, and a squiggly superheader, and I thought “wouldn’t it be satisfying if they fit together?!”

Can confirm, it is very satisfying. 😄

At Amazon MX we've moved away from RN to Next.js + Webview.
Now from mobile to desktop everything runs on our same webstack.
This decision was made to unify the stack and the fact that our fe is thin client and all the logic of what to render is on a separate Java package.
