Had a great night of laughs with the world’s most renowned pervert, John Waters.

Husband and I wanted to go hiking today but not drive very far so we hit up the Richard T. Anderson Conservation Area in Eden Prairie. It was a nice time but the hilly trail kicked our asses and we cut our hike short after a few too many perilous ascents and descents.

I did it.

I put up my Christmas lights around the patio door today because it was nice out. I hadn't planned on turning them on yet but looking at my Christmas Lights feed, I see a lot of people are happy to see decorative lights on so soon so maybe I will plug them in before Thanksgiving...

Had an awesome morning at the arboretum with @yarnchicken.bsky.social exploring the Ridge and Lost Pond trails with some bog boardwalk on the side. We also visited the applehouse for treats. Spotted on our hike: fungi! And this wooly bear caterpillar, who predicts a mild winter.

I live on a busy street corner where people (assholes) like to stick advertising signs into the ground. I take great pleasure in picking them up and throwing them away. Today's sign only lasted three hours before I got to it, ha!

The weather was gorgeous today but I was too busy to take a walk until 4:30 pm, so I strapped on some lights and hit the trail at sunset.
