What baffles me is that they keep trying to display the most divisive part of the show (Season 8) for their games, and never, like, the whole part of the show that everyone loves.

Cheap enshittification of the product into laying off everyone to cover profit margins and pushing user irrelevant features for the investors into dying and selling off. I wish this wasn't so common in the software industry those days.
