Artist, musician, owner/curator of 119 North Weatherly art gallery, nerdy Minnesota girl, T1D. I’m gonna make it after all or die trying.
In November of 1995, I was newly sixteen, loved guitars, and the Beatles Anthology changed my life forever.

I hopped on the ACEO bandwagon this week, and now I’m dedicating a half hour a day to creating a little tarot card-sized piece of art. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a practice this much.

Kazoo Master Graham Parker playing “I’m the Urban Spaceman” at Brit’s Pub this evening. I was hoping to hear “Local Girls,” but if ever there was an acceptable replacement, this would be it.

Well, here’s a post I never thought I’d have to make, but here we are. The House Republicans just passed the bill that is going to send people like me to a death sentence. I’m a type 1 diabetic who relies on MinnesotaCare, a Medicaid program, to stay alive. That health care is being stripped away
