Oh for sure! I just know here, you do not have the option to opt out, but in other countries you do. I was just wondering if the low % was due to employees opting out. Makes sense it’s just certain stores that unionized though.

Not sure if Costco in Canada is striking but I can say a lot of union members here are striking. Inflation is crazy and since workers are under a “master agreement” this is the only opportunity they have to fight for fair wages. I hope the strike ends in a positive outcome for your family!

Honestly, in some of the farm land in Canada they are pests as well! Taking out am ducks, chickens and geese. I’ve had foxes snatch my chickens in broad daylight. They are beautiful but they are a pest.
