Rough time in our house as we said goodbye to our cat yesterday. 12 years was not nearly enough.

Busy couple of days! Kiddo scored her first goal in Boston, me and the hubs saw Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on tour, and Jewish heritage night at the Sox marked the coldest baseball game of my life 😅 Just a quintessential New England weekend 🤣

Lucky 13 in the books today. ✨ Kiddo had a sleepover so we could enjoy this “hidden” cafe in Beacon Hill with enough champagne to give me proper rosy cheeks 🥰🥂

My stomach (and heart) is satisfied ♥️

Made a reservation at an Italian restaurant to break Passover tonight. I neeeeed noodles. No idea how my kiddo can do stuff like this- I feel like my stomach is full of matzah shaped boulders!

I hope everyone celebrating has a wonderful Passover! We are praying for an end to warfare, our hostages to return, and injustice to end- in the US and elsewhere. Grateful to be with family and to enjoy these traditions with my kiddo.

One of the coolest parts of yesterday was the Bruker CEO getting up to share some upcoming advancements during the lunch seminar! This is the second conference in a row I’ve seen Frank walking around and taking notes and it is pretty awesome. #USHUPO2025

My favorite takeaway from #USHUPO2025 so far?! Building a business is not too different from building a lab. Huge thanks to @lindsaykpino.com & @nmriley.bsky.social for hosting a phenomenal workshop on the business of starting a lab!!!

I took this photo as the sun rose on Obama’s 1st inauguration. It was a beautiful day full of hope. I waited outside beginning at 4 am to be there, joined by tens of thousands of others.

I have a wealth of feelings today, but mostly I feel a lack of hope. What a tough time to be an American.

On the 4th night, I accidentally made enough latkes to feed the Maccabee’s 😅

Celebrating 2 years since this photo- when the kiddo (then 6) finally received her 1st COVID vaccine and I felt the stress melt off my shoulders. Still so grateful for all the scientists, clinicians, and others who made this happen so quickly.

This is so cool! Looking forward to watching this change throughout my postdoc 😎

Can’t understate the importance of a mental reset! So grateful for the chance for a quick weekend with one of my closest friends. Great food, great art, great company- can’t be better.
