A soft classic white cake filled with chocolate sprinkles and enveloped in an almond buttercream frosting accented with fresh dark cherries and yes, more chocolate sprinkles.
This cake is light like summer and pretty like winter and you can have a slice at Dingo Dog Brewing Co. tonight at 6:30pm.

Last night, I dreamed I had to keep eating chocolate cakes until I found the right one while ex-partners looked on, and so I figured it was time to get out of the kitchen and back outside to continue chicken coop prep.

This girlie is only 9 months old and looks like a totally innocent babe. As she drinks my coffee and my (NA) beers and plucks all the plants from any container of dirt within her reach (i.e. everything) I think she's really a chain smoking, gardening grandma stuck in a teenage dog's body. 🌱🚬☕🍺

The cake I made for Dingo Dog Brewing Company today! I went all early 80's and decorated it the way my mom did Easter cakes when my brother and I were little.

No sleep, dog diarrhea emergency at 6:00am, chemo cream on nose starting to do its job, cold weather again, week 4 of car in the shop, and 12 loaves of bread ahead of me with a later than preferred start time.
Gonna be a many cups of coffee and no human interaction/news consumption kind of day.

At a plant event yesterday, I heard the term "chaos gardening" used. The gardener said it was an excellent way to get started and to learn.
