Me too! I sacrificed too many hours of sleep but finished it late last night. My inbox is open if you want to chat/scream/cry 😭

From a neurodivergent standpoint: automate everything you can. Litter Robot, PetSafe auto-feeder, water fountain, Chewy autoship for food and litter. It’s life-changing.

Teacher here: it’s true. I love my kids, but without fail they go nuts around a full moon. Every. Single. Month.

At this point, I might just make a bath soap out of it 😭 but we do Clorox student desks pretty regularly, and I wipe mine down almost every day.

I used to read the first HP book with my students every year. Like, bought a class set of the books with my own money so the kids could read along. Those books now sit in a box in the back of cabinet in my classroom and likely will never see the light of day again.

Elementary teacher here: Audio books are 100% reading when comprehension is the goal. As Maryanne Wolf stated, reading is a human invention, not a biological capacity such as language or vision. We’re genetically wired to comprehend through hearing, but we have to learn how to read print.

Last spring I read this tweet of yours to my 4th graders (minus names) after we studied the Amache camp here in Colorado & read a novel about a girl whose friends were in Minidoka. Thank you for allowing me to share your story with them - it made history real. My kids give me hope for the future.
