Girlkid's (11) current assortment of library books. (The childrens books are research for writing her own books.)
Eight books spread out on a counter. Three are picture books for young children, two are graphic novels for elementary children, two are books on mythology for teens, and one is a book on the history of communism for graduate students. All of the books are current library selections for one middle school aged child.

Found a bunch of coins today. Many of the 90% silver, but also some cool looking ones. Now to find a coin collector or numismatist to tell me what some of this are.

(Also found a farthing and some others as well.)

Daughter wanted a new painting to add to her portfolio. Painting is a medium she doesn't play with quite as much. I think it looks fabulous,but I am biased.

My first thought to myself was, "well church could maybe go either way" but then I remembered finding that my son had made similarly themed edits to a workbook at all of 6 and maybe I have been the problem all along.
A child's grade 1 workbook. 4 questions are posed with the instruction to write the answers on the line. Each question inclides a drawing. What words tell about a puppy? What words tell about a storm? What words tell about a birthday cake? What words tell about a winter coat? As there is a specific image for each, the child has crossed out "a" in each and replaced it with "the".

Am amused to stumble across this today as we are discussing mediocre white men (which, given the date, this certainly was) having credentials and performing jobs badly.

The building being discussed was located in Auburndale, Florida.
