abundantly clear that this administration takes “discrimination” to mean “any regard for minority communities” and treats “merit” as a synonym for “white (and preferably male)”
I’m struck by the Trump administration’s attempt to redefine equality as discrimination against white people. This is a deeply racist idea that *equal outcomes* must be unfair, assuming white people are naturally at the top of the hierarchy.

“We would do well to remember that IQ is, above all, a eugenic concept, concocted to sort winners from losers and to justify the rules of the game. Eugenics … in the 21st century … among those who fancy themselves futurists?”

As I wrote about in my NYT Mag cover story last year, conservatives have co-opted the language of civil rights, but the adaptation of fuzzy terms and programs such as diversity, equity and inclusion have made the attacks on civil and BLACK rights easier as they have provided the camouflage.

I love how embracing segregationism is cool now that it's been rebranded as anti-wokeness

I have to say, I came over here earlier this summer looking for some relief from the intense racism and misogynoir on the other site, and ran smack into intense racism and misogynoir over here. Still have hope though.
