I am a US citizen (grew up in Colorado, but have lived on the east and west coast and the mid south) currently living in England with my husband and 2 children. We are trying to take advantage of the opportunities to explore while living in the UK.

So of my favorite parts of Christ Church.

Christ Church is the location of many filming locations for Harry Potter, which was no surprise because this Oxford University is magical!
I read all of the Harry Potter books, but didn't enjoy the movies🇺🇸/films🇬🇧 as much and have actually only seen the first one all the way through. Books or movies?

We stayed on the outskirts at a hotel that was walking distance to the park-and-ride. I appreciate the signage and implementation of the buses which ran on a regular basis, we didn't have to wait in either direction.

We took a quick holiday🇬🇧/trip🇺🇸 during the half term 🇬🇧/school break🇺🇸. We started in Oxford. By the time we got into Oxford lot of places were closed, which is just a good reason to come back!

I’ve seen The Lonely Tree posted on some social photography books a few times and had considered visiting, but couldn’t figure out where to park. Yesterday I wanted to take some photos in the fog. I pulled up CityMapper and realized that I could actually walk to the tree, so I did.
