This is definitely me, but I will never stop trying to help if I think I can. Sometimes it gets me my feelings hurt. And sometimes it hurts when I realise I don't always have the support system I try to be. But sometimes I get to help, so it's worth the other stuff.

Picked a pack of these up in the grocery shopping, on offer this week. Can't afford them at full price, sadly, but they're amazing.

We've just been visited by a western conifer seed bug. Weird looking little critter that I would have been thrilled to see were it not flying around my living room at twenty to eleven at night.

Feel as though I should post the recipe as this got a couple of likes. It's not mine, it's from a 1960s Bacofoil recipe book that belonged to my Nanna. We vary the veg and tend to use oil rather than lard, but it's essentially the same.
