The HTML workshop at the Harold Washington Library was a success! It was an absolute joy to see people's faces light up when they realized they had published a website in 2 hours.

One of the hardest problems to solve with concurrency is catching nondeterministic bugs.

I've created a must-read deep dive for my paying patrons that provides a robust pattern on "Unit Testing Concurrency + Caching".

I know it's not cool to wear a mask, but breathing in wildfire every summer is bound to lead to long-term health issues 😬

Friends wonder how I can create complex and specific results with AI so quickly to help with tasks.

I've never thought about it before, so I asked AI how I've been able to do this.

This week on Patreon, I talk about mocking in a notecard.

If you're doing more than 2-3 mocks in a test, it's well worth taking a pause and rechecking what you're doing. www.patreon.com/posts/131556...

I'll be speaking at Droidcon NYC June 25-26 on Kotlin Coroutine Mechanisms (part 2!)

The talk is also a sneak peek of the upcoming Droidcon Academy eBook release, "Mastering Kotlin Coroutines: From Basics to Advanced".

I'll drop a few easter eggs as the date gets closer 🤠 #dcnyc25 #android

I'm getting excited about how this Droidcon Coroutines Codelab is turning out. Here's one topic I'm writing about:

Channel.Rendezvous is the default setting for Channels. Channel.Rendezvous creates a 0 buffer channel. Data can be sent through channels when both producer + consumer are ready.

hemingway.app is my favorite writing app I use. I tend to get verbose with complex thoughts, so I try to aim for a grade level of 9 whenever I'm writing articles or books.

Computer science is hard. Writing them in this way makes it easy for others to learn, and for others to suggest improvements
