Based on all the noise coming out the US, it appears straight white men have been unfairly maligned and held to account in recent years, and are now having a #MenToo moment. I had no idea they were such an oppressed underclass. My heart goes out to them.

Today in “Where are we on the FAFO curve?” : 400 arrests, numerous massive injuries including total loss of eyesight, and 36 apartments rendered uninhabitable after yet another night of stupidity with fireworks in Berlin. 🤦🏾‍♂️

I do not understand why so many otherwise staid, orderly Germans lose their mind on Dec 31st and literally light money on fire by letting off hundreds of Euros worth of fireworks … and then the next day will go right back to complaining about the price of groceries and bargain-hunting 🤷🏽‍♂️

In the last couple of years, I’ve often wondered how the world collectively took a wrong turn a few years ago that now puts so many bad actors in positions of power - how did we end up with Trump, Putin, Xi Jinping, Netanyahu, Bukele, Orban etc all at the same time?
