That’s simple, actually. They aren’t going after research and healthcare specifically - they’re going after data and verifiable facts period.
The entire goal is to keep people dumb and afraid. It’s been their goal to force us into a post-fact society for a long time, and they’re close.

I just don’t understand why the fascists are going after research into healthcare and the NIH & CDC. I get the power and greed and grifting and denigrating academics but the health of our people? Why? Even billionaires can die from the next pandemic.
