AI is killing growth through employment as are greedy board members who now earn 300X what ordinary ppl earn (compared with 20x 40 years ago). We’ve been robbed ever since Thatcher sell offs, it appears to me in hindsight

I’m fully aware of the reaction to both Budgets but I’m also sure that no Budget would be welcomed and that UK lost its marbles in 2016 and as a nation is in denial over our lack of money / growth/ productivity. It’s also a political post not a job for an academic or banker

But what is the critique exactly? Rachel from account may be far better with money than Horace the hedgefunder. The implication appears to be she has a little brain so therefore over-promoted. I very much believe any Budget would be massively criticised at this time

I agree but what ppl on here don’t seem to recognise is what a huge issue all forms of immigration is with ppl outside London. No democratic govt could ignore it but obvs the govt hasn’t tried to lead the conversation
