Reading it now though I really love some of the characters. I'm also happy with the pace of the early chapters. I thought it would never see the light of day but who knows in the future I might just end up finishing it........ after I finish writing my current novel that is.

It's a touching story that's aided greatly by the spectacular artwork of the book. I hope the author continues her work in comics as I'm very excited to see what she makes next.

I recommend watching City if you haven't already. But once you're done, definitely go back and read the original manga. The animation barely adapts half of it, and the art of Keiichi Arawi is brilliant.

This page is one of my favorites. The way Art puts his father in the forground, making himself appear small. The way his fathers body is shown fractured, to illustrate how he's broken man. All these little details help tell the story and turn what would have been a great book into a masterpiece.
