The legislation might not even make it to the Senate. Mainly because the senate is controlled by Repubs who have blocked funding proposals previously. There is a chance they may let this move forward but I’m not that hopeful.

What these NIMBYs don't realize is that the money and potentially lives of crash victims are gonna be lost because they oppose the one opportunity that could save them.
