Honestly I thought it was hilarious. Because yeah, life did indeed be shitting on me constantly back then lol. She was a good therapist, so I’m pretty sure the spirit in which it was intended was humor.

Had a therapist tell me that she was always excited for my sessions because “life can’t stop shitting on you.”

Honestly I feel like we’re in the very early stage of taking “faggot” for own as a community. Shit, we did it with queer already.

The part that makes me angriest is that these people will go out and say that they’re allies with only a passing acceptance of us.
