Millennial quilter/knitter/crochet..er.. and lover of dogs: my dogs, your dogs, all dogs!
I do want to see if I can find some kind of accordion fold that works (I tried initially but couldn’t get it to leave a full line exposed), the combo of this quilt being big, rectangular, and having to quilt along diagonal lines, at least for now, is definitely complicating things

This is definitely the biggest quilt I’ve ever quilted, particularly in the space that is my new sewing area which is suddenly feeling very short lol.. but I can’t really unroll, otherwise the quilt is hanging over and creating tension issues

It’s a quilt clip, super cheap on Amazon but kind of limited honestly because they don’t constrict and you can’t really expand them, so they only work for rolls the exact size that they are.. honestly still haven’t found the best solution as far as quilt clips go

I think I’m going to try echo quilting mine, I would stitch in the ditch but I have a loooot of seams pressed open so I’d be a little nervous to hurt something lol

You totally should, I tried it because my go-to of 80/20 poly/cotton seems to yield such stiff quilts (at least before they’re used/washed a few times) and this was the first quilt I made specifically for a baby.. it was so nice to finish a quilt and have it be soft right away

Love this! My goal for 2025 is to make at least a couple of quilts with bright and saturated colors, this is good inspiration 😁
