That makes no sense. They're not going to follow any law that gets passed. They'll just called the new law illegitimate or something. The dems are too soft for this moment, I fear.

Because dems will view it as "mission accomplished" and when voters demand more they'll point to it as an accomplishment and chide us for not being satisfied. I'm tired of them offering breadcrumbs.

They're not going to abide by any legal restrictions placed on them. They'll continue doing exactly what they have been. What makes you think they would start following rules now?
