Last night I rewatched the film "Canadian Bacon" and thought it must have been what Trump used for his playbook.

I was swimming in the water off a Florida Panhandle beach when a wild mother dolphin brought her baby to meet me. I could tell she was telling her baby "This is a human check it out" . They stayed with me for a few minutes then both swam away.

On May 4, 1971, a year after four anti-war student protester were killed by the National guard on Kent State campus I took part in a protest.

It is important for us to remember the current campus protesters are simply young people trying to speak their minds by protesting.

Gratitude 🙏 for Elections Canada 🇨🇦 the independent, singular national agency that coordinates the business of getting millions of us to the polls.

And a big shout out to the thousands of temporary poll workers who pull it all together in a seamless + professional way.

We are well served.

There was a great turn out for Gainesville Fine Art Association’s art gallery opening last night. The best part was meeting the artist of the painting that inspired my poem.

Crows in a lab were able to distinguish shapes that exhibited right angles, parallel lines, and symmetry, suggesting that, like humans, they have a special ability to perceive geometric regularity.
