it’s very strange to claim that all of society secretly hates AI when
a) about half of Americans are more or equally excited than concerned about AI.
b) opinions have not changed in nearly 3 years.
c) a majority of Americans are regular, deliberate LLM users.

Seems important to mention that these regions are historical, not natural groupings, and the West is 10x as large geographically than the Northeast, which is one of the densest and most economically productive regions on Earth.

If we imprisoned people at the rate of even Mexico then we could get rid of over 66% of prison beds in this country.
At Canadian rates it’d be like an 84% reduction. 88% reduction for German levels.
